Oman expressed its support for a political solution to the Sahara conflict that preserves Morocco's sovereignty over its entire territory.
"We support the efforts of the UN Secretary-General and his Personal Envoy to reach a political solution to end the Sahara issue on the basis of international legitimacy," representative of the Sultanate of Oman said Khalid Saeed Mohamed Al Shuaibi.
Al Shuaibi stressed that this solution must "preserve the Kingdom of Morocco's sovereignty over the whole Moroccan territory".
