The Moroccan people from Tangier to Lagouira will celebrate the 18th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors, Throne Day, Sunday, July 30, 2017.
The commemoration of the Throne Day is the strongest expression of the ties that bind the Moroccan people to the glorious Alawite Throne.
It is also the most explicit message of the Moroccans' attachment to their territorial integrity and sovereignty over their national territory, especially on southern Saharan region that the opponents of the Nation seek to transform artificially into an object of regional conflict, which Moroccans, in particular Sahrawis, have already settled.
Saharawis, through their representatives at the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, contributed to this settlement by formulating the autonomy plan for the region. A proposal inspired by His Majesty the King who set up the Council in March 2006, to finally settle the artificial conflict.
