Responding to a MAP question on the position of regarding the country's autonomy plan for the Sahara deemed by UN Security Council as genuine and credible, the head of Czech diplomacy reiterated that his country supports United Nations efforts to find a solution to the Sahara issue. 

Mr. Zaoralek made the statement at a joint press conference with Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation who is on a working and friendship visit. Ambassador of Morocco to Prague, Ms. Soriya Otmani, close colleagues of the Minister and Czech officials at Ministry of foreign affairs attended the meeting.

Both parties identified the common positions of the two countries on major regional and international issues of common interest including Maghreb relations with the EU.

The two ministers stressed also the need to give new impetus to economic and trade cooperation between Morocco and the Czech Republic all prospecting business opportunities in both countries.
