The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) will never change one iota its stand on Morocco's territorial integrity, said speaker of Congolese senate Léon Kengo Wa Dondo, adding that the Sahara is an integral and indivisible part of Morocco's territory.

Wa Dondo, who received Saturday in Kinshasa a Moroccan delegation led by minister delegate to the head of government in charge of civil service and administration modernization Mohamed Moubdii, also underlined that Congo and Morocco are linked by deep, long-standing and privileged ties.

"We will never forget that Moroccans shed their blood and sacrificed themselves to defend our country during difficult times," said members of the delegation quoting Wa Dondo at a behind closed doors meeting.

The cooperation relations between Morocco and Congo derive their strength from a shared will to spare no effort in order to close ranks and further the interests of the two brotherly countries, he said.
