Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, expressed, here Thursday, his country's support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.


"We express our solidarity with the Kingdom, and we stand with Morocco on its territorial integrity", Browne told the press following a meeting with Foreign minister Salaheddin Mezouar, on the sidelines of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.

 Antigua and Barbuda PM also extended his thanks to Morocco for its assistance to his country and other countries in the Caribbean region.

 For his part, Mezouar recalled the constant position of Antigua and Barbuda in relation to Morocco's territorial integrity, noting that Browne sized the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to facilitate and encourage any initiative likely to achieve a just political solution to the conflict.

 This meeting was also an opportunity to renew Morocco's commitment to support the development efforts of Antigua and Barbuda, within the framework of mutual respect and active solidarity, Mezouar underlined.
