During this visit attended by Mr. Secretary General, Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khalihenna Maouelainin, and Vice-chairman, Khaddad El Moussaoui, Khalihenna briefed the ambassador about the following points:

. Phases of decolonization of the Kingdom of Morocco from 1956 to 1975 highlighting the genesis of the conflict during the Cold War and its evolution from 1975 to the present day;

. History of political conditions and circumstances leading to the creation of the Polisario Front;

. Stages of evolution of the Sahara issue and the context in which CORCAS was created by HM King Mohammed VI;

. The outline of the autonomy initiative presented as a final solution to the conflict.
