The Mexican official said in a statement to the press after the meeting that his country hopes these negotiations will be successful and parties will work towards a negotiated solution to the Sahara issue, for the establishment of peace and stability in the region.
The Mexican delegation, led by Deputy Senate President, Mr. Francisco Agustin Arroyo Vieira (Institutional Revolutionary Party), includes Mr. Salomon Jara Cruz, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee for Africa (Democratic Revolutionary Party) and Mr. José Julián Sacramento Garza the Committee Secretary (National Action Party) .
The Mexican parliamentary delegation arrived on Tuesday, in Morocco, in a three-day visit at the invitation of the House of Councillors.
