The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs will hold its first regular session for the year 2007 on May 29-30 in Rabat under the presidency of the Council's chairman Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid.

The agenda of the session includes “maritime fisheries sector for the development of the southern provinces and youth employment in handicraft fishing".

The Council was due to hold this session in March but it had to be deferred because it coincided with the feast of Aid al Maoulid Annabaoui Acharif (Prophet’s birth).

The Corcas began, on last December 21 and 22 in Rabat its second ordinary session which was dedicated to housing in the Kingdom’s southern provinces.
