Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Khalihenna Ould Errachid on Tuesday held talks with visiting Finnish MP and Special Envoy of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Kimmo Kiljunen.



 During this meeting, the CORCAS chairman highlighted the broad lines of the Sahara issue, and discussed with Kiljunen the evolution of the issue of human rights in the southern provinces.

    The meeting was held in the presence of Finland's ambassador in Morocco, Antti Rytôvuori, CORCAS Secretary general, Maoulainin Benkhalihenna Maoulainin, and CORCAS vice- presidents, Kheddad El Moussaoui and Lay Ahmed Mghizlat.

Statement:

Moroccan proposal to grant autonomy to the southern provinces is an important and acceptable proposal, especially after its acceptance by many active countries  in the Security Council and the United Nations
