The President of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH), Amina Bouayach, chaired, Monday in Dakhla, the appointment ceremony of the new members of the Regional Human Rights Commission (CRDH) in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.


The Dakhla-Oued Eddahab CRDH is made up of 21 members proposed by the regional representative bodies of magistrates, lawyers, doctors, ulemas and professional journalists, associations and regional human rights observatories and active personalities in the field of the protection and promotion of human rights.
Ms. Bouayach underlined that this meeting is essential, through which the CNDH continues to complete its structures and organs, by appointing members of regional commissions and monitoring actions they take.
In this vein, she indicated that the principle of rotation at the level of positions of responsibility has been applied within the framework of this new composition of CRDH, with a view to guaranteeing a wider representativeness within the committees of the Council, emphasizing the responsibility of new members.
Ms. Bouayach also noted that the Council has a clear strategy adopted by the General Assembly of the CNDH based on the effectiveness of human rights, advocating for the consolidation of the interaction with members of the regional commissions, with a view to monitor and evaluate public policies regionally.
the president of the Regional Human Rights Commission of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Maimouna Essayed, congratulated the new members  calling to fully adhere to the efforts aimed at the promotion and consecration of the culture of human rights at the regional level.
In this sense, she underlined that members of the committee will, in accordance with the law governing the Council, look into several major issues to better anchor the culture and practice of human rights, by adopting a policy of proximity, anticipation, follow-up, support and mediation.
 Ms. Essayed noted that working groups will carry out these missions, including group responsible for the protection of human rights and promotion and dissemination of the culture of human rights.
In addition, president of the Regional Human Rights Commission of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab gave a presentation, in which she emphasized the different activities that have been organized by this structure, related to the protection and promotion of human rights and capacity building of people active in the field.
