Kuwait reiterated, on Tuesday, its position in support of the Kingdom's territorial integrity and of the autonomy initiative submitted by Morocco as a basis for any negotiated solution to the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

In the minutes issued following the 9th session of the Moroccan-Kuwaiti joint committee, held on Tuesday in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti party also welcomed the initiative by HM King Mohammed VI inviting Algeria to a direct dialogue to solve and settle disputes. Morocco and Kuwait signed, at the end of the 9th session of the joint committee, chaired by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait, five bilateral cooperation agreements in the different fields as well as the minutes of the meeting.
