The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs is taking part, with the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in 40th ordinary session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) that started on Monday 25 February 2019 at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva.

During this session, which will continue until 22 March 2019, Corcas is represented by a delegation consisting of Moulay Ahmed Mghizlate, member and Hassan Sbaï, chief of staff. In addition to the presentation of the annual report of the High Commissioner on Human Rights as a whole, the agenda for this session is marked by the consideration of the Secretary-General's progress report on the progress made in the implementation of the resolution including the means and measures likely to improve its implementation. This session will also be marked by the organization of an annual half-day meeting on various human rights issues with the heads of the governing bodies and secretariats of the United Nations system, within the limits of their responsibilities, respective mandates, in order to promote the integration of human rights into the activities of the United Nations system as a whole.
