"Algeria should get involved in good faith, in the political process and meet its responsibilities in the Moroccan Sahara dispute," said the Moroccan delegation to the head of the Algerian delegation about its tendentious and biased statement about the Moroccan Sahara at this conference.

"The responsibility of Algeria is clear, it is confirmed at all levels, militarily, financially, humanitarian and politically," said the Moroccan delegation, adding that "Algeria has a blatant responsibility in the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara,  must stop hiding behind self-determination, and make selective readings and variable geometry of this principle.

the Sahara is a question of territorial integrity for the Kingdom of Morocco, reiterates the Moroccan delegation.

The Security Council and the Secretary General's latest report S / 2018/277 paragraph 79 called on Algeria to make important contributions and strengthen its engagement in the political proces".

"Algeria refuses census of populations sequestered in Tindouf camps, despite repeated calls from the Security Council and UNHCR", said the Moroccan delegation, adding that "Algeria participates in the misuse of humanitarian aid for the sequestered populations in the Tindouf camps ".

"Algeria should stop misleading the International Community", said the Moroccan delegation.
