Colombia supports Morocco’s territorial integrity and autonomy initiative proposed by the Kingdom, Mr. Amaya Rodriguez said in a statement to MAP at the end of this interview, adding that the Moroccan party informed the Colombian delegation about the different steps witnessed by the Sahara issue.
The interview also focused on the peace process in Colombia and its vital importance to the achievement of development, he said.
Carlos Andres Amaya Rodriguez, was accompanied by a large delegation composed of José Eduardo Castaneda Murillo, vice president of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Colombian House of Representatives, Elkin Rodolfo Ospina, German Blanco, Juan Felipe Lemus Uribe, Carlos Alberto Cuenca Chaux, John Jairo Roldano Avendano and Mario Suarez Florez, members of the Colombian House of Representatives, as well as Pilar Rodriguez, Secretary General of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Colombian House of Representatives and Diana Maria Garcia Bahamon, Chargé of Protocol at the Colombian House of Representatives.
From the Corcas side, Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khalihanna Maoulainin, Corcas Secretary General and Khaddad Moussaoui, Vice-chairman and Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat Corcas member attended the meeting.
