The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held discussions, Friday at the Council’s headquarters, with the president of Mexican House of Representatives Mr. Jorge Zermeno Infante.









Talks focused upon the Moroccan initiative to negotiate an autonomy statute for the Sahara and means to promote co-operation and friendly relationships between the two countries in various fields, declared Mr. Zermeno to the media at the end of this meeting. 

Mr. Jorge Zermeno Infante is in official visit in Morocco from May 24 to 27, leading an important parliamentary delegation at the invitation of the president of the Moroccan House of Representatives.

The Mexican delegation is made up of Mr. Jacinto Gomez Pasillas, secretary of the presidency of the House of Representatives (New alliance Party), Jergardo Buiganza Salmeron, president of the Commission of Foreign Relations (National Action party) and Samuel Aguilar Solis, member of the same commission (Institutional Revolutionary Party).

The president of the Mexican House of Representatives held discussed Thursday with the presidents the two Houses of Parliament, Mr.Abdelwahed Radi and Mr. Mostapha Oukacha, in addition to Mr. Fathallah Oualalou, Minister of Finances and Privatization and Mr. Taïeb Fassi Fihri, minister delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
