A new defeat by the enemies of our territorial integrity was signed at the Caribbean sea, during the period from 22 to 24 May 2007 in the island of Grenada at regional working days by  the 24Committee  which is a United Nations body charged with monitoring non-autonomous territories.

This defeat is demonstrated on several levels, both by the quality and nature of the participation of Morocco, or by the positive reactions to the Moroccan speech, as well as the satisfactory result achieved in this forum.

The Moroccan delegation composed of Khaddad Moussaoui,. Kalthoom Alkhayat, Gajmoula Ybih, members of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, participated actively in the works of these school days, despite hampering by Polisario and Algeria. This participation has contributed to breaking the myth of the supposed representation by Polisario of Sahrawis.

Through their presentations, the Moroccan representatives stressed the aspirations of the inhabitants of the South who want to participate in building a unified and modern Morocco, and participate in its efforts to establish economic and social development in the region.

In addition, the Moroccan delegation, during these school days, which brought together non-governmental organizations, experts in constitutional law and diplomats from the United Nations Member States, promoted the idea that the Moroccan initiative to grant autonomy to the Sahara is in line with international legitimacy.

CORCAS members demonstrated that autonomy is a modern and democratic expression of the right to self-determination.

At the end of these days, the participants welcomed the developments that have taken place in recent months following the submission of autonomy initiative to the United Nations, which has been described as "serious and credible" by the Security Council.

The paragraph on the Sahara in the report of the school days quoted provisions of resolution 1754 adopted in April 30, 2007 by the executive body of the United Nations, thus supporting the approach chosen by Morocco, which believes that negotiation is the best way to resolve this dispute.

Through the adoption of this text, the Committee of 24 is breaking with previous decisions, sanctified by the Security Council through resolution 1754, thus encouraging Morocco to continue on its path to settle this dispute.
